The Therriault Collection is a seven image selection created during a trip covering the three-day event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, MT.
I had wanted to try and create a small landscape album that would help me understand and appreciate the remote land north of the Flathead River Valley. Specifically forest part of the Kootenai National Forest. In the summer months, the land surrounding the Therriault lakes, and greater 10 Lakes area is quite pristine, and normally unmarred by smoke. Though at the time these images were produced there was still a significant amount of smoke in the area. It created a hazy, almost film grain effect that helped frame the trees, skyline, and water in a way that was fascinating to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
